 Pearson Airport - Terminal One

Value: $20 Million Schedule: 6 Months

Description: Throughout the duration of this demolition project, safety, efficiency and speed were kept at an ultimate high. Dust control and site tidiness were absolutely required as Toronto Pearson International Airport continued to operate at a regular pace.
 
In a six month period:
  • Priestly Demolition completed a pre-engineered demolition methodology for former Terminal One.
  • All hazardous materials including asbestos and PCB were removed.
  • The complete demolition of an approximately 10 story building and parking garage was achieved.
  • Over 200,000 tons of concrete was successfully recycled on site for reuse.
